Toilet & Bathroom Waterproofing
Toilets and bathrooms are the areas whereby there is almost daily exposure to water. Over time waterproofing membrane in the cement ground breaks down or worn out from cleaning or showering. Water then sips between the tiles and through the concrete slab, and causes water damage to the ceiling below or neighbouring wall. Due to wet cement or paint, the ceiling below tends to peel off or change in colour.
These are very problematic because when water leakage happens, it forces you not to use the toilet to prevent further water leakage.

Common Toilet & Bathroom Leakage Problems
Cause | Description |
---|---|
Wear and tear of waterproof membrane and screed | Natural deterioration over time from daily water exposure |
Poor installed caulking | Inadequate sealing around fixtures and joints |
Inadequate floor gradient causing water stagnation | Water pools in areas instead of draining properly |
Water seeping through concrete floor slab | Penetration through cracks in the structural slab |
Deterioration of waterproofing in wet areas | Breakdown of protective barriers in high-moisture zones |
Improper installation of waterproofing elements | Faulty application of waterproofing systems during construction |
Our Solution
Flood Infusion Treatment is a well proven and non-invasive treatment to fix water leakage in toilets and bathrooms.
Our Flood Infusion Treatment usually takes 4 hours to complete with no hacking involved. The treated toilet should be left unused for 24 hours, and after that the toilet can be used as per normal. Note that the chemical reaction inside concrete slab will take around 2 weeks to complete, hence any paint work or water test done by third party should be carried out after 2 weeks.
